Artistic Endeavors

We recently had the pleasure of attending an art show opening for an amazing artist named Christine Spera! Her art is vibrant and weird and truly fantastic! I really wanted to win one of her canvas mounted pieces in the raffle, I even offered her a bribe, but alas I didn't win. Christine was kind enough to give me a signed print however and it is currently being framed so I can hang it over my desk. She is a young creative talent and her first show had an amazing turnout, in fact the event was wall to wall people for the entire evening! Check out her Facebook page and say hello. end

Color Me Bad!

Some people do some really interesting things on a Sunday afternoon. The Color Run is a 5K run/walk with only two rules. Rule #1: White shirts! Rule #2: Color plastered EVERYTHING at the finish line. Get together with other people of questionable sanity and run through a cloud of color!
